North America User Conference

We are seeking a collaborative Product Manager, on a full-time, permanent, remote working basis, who can be located in either the UK or U.S.

Product managers at i2 work collaboratively across the business to shape the evolution of the product portfolio to meet our customer’s current and emerging mission requirements, while ensuring product development is aligned to the overall i2 business strategy. The person in this role will be expected to develop a deep understanding of customer use cases and market trends, provide critical input to the i2 product roadmap, and support go-to-market efforts with key stakeholders. The ability to make informed decisions in the face of ambiguity, prioritize competing requirements, engage with customers, and lead through influence will be extremely important in this role.  

What you will do:

  • Develop, refine, and prioritize the product roadmap to deliver relevant and forward-thinking capabilities to public safety, national security, defense, and commercial customers
  • Collaborate across the i2 business – regularly work alongside software developers, marketing, sales, customer success, and services to build, promote, and deliver world-class software supporting critical missions
  • Work with the design and development teams to manage the product backlog and make data-driven prioritization decisions
  • Meet with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders to validate design concepts and use cases to ensure we are building products and capabilities that are aligned to market requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and attend industry events to stay current on trends and technologies in the domains we serve
  • Present the product roadmap virtually and in-person

Experiences that will make your application stand out: 

  • 1-3 years of experience as a software product or program manager supporting public  safety, defense, national security, or corporate security customers
  • Working knowledge of i2 products or comparable intelligence analysis software
  • Flexibility to see the big picture (strategy) while also embracing the details (tactical)
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable presenting to large audiences
  • Cross-functional leadership experience

Travel

 

Note; This role will require up to 20% travel. Applicants will be considered who are based in the U.S. or UK. To support the global nature of our business and customer base, non-standard working hours may be required.
