Software Development Team Lead
We are seeking a skilled lead engineer with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript & Node backend systems to drive the development and enhancement of our products and services. In this role, you will also lead and manage a small team of 3–4 engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them excel.
The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining a cloud-based service - and its surrounding ecosystem - that integrates data from various Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), digital forensics, commercial threat intelligence, and other critical data providers, enabling seamless access for i2 users. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for creating efficient, scalable solutions, demonstrate expertise in building cloud-based services, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This permanent position will be performed on a remote basis with a requirement to visit the i2 Office in Cambridge, UK as and when there is a business need to do so (circa 2 days per month).
In performing this position, your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
Leading and managing a small team, encompassing the development of team members' skills and expertise through coaching, mentoring, and training, as well as performance management, succession planning, talent development, and creating a positive and inclusive team culture.
In conjunction with the project manager oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, architects, and product managers, to ship new services and full-stack features
Being accountable for the technical feasibility of designs and optimizing solutions for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensuring data security and platform compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Establishing robust monitoring, logging, and tracing systems to proactively detect issues and optimize performance APIs and the cloud services.
Conducting thorough testing (automated and manual) to identify, fix bugs, and performance issues.
Collaborating with Support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure timely and effective solutions.
Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are built using the best practices.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:1 Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience running small to mid-sized teams, including line management
Demonstrable success and involvement in software design and implementation of production-ready web-services and cloud services using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
Experience integrating with different data providers, including API integrations (e.g. REST, GraphQL), data mapping, and data normalization.
Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation.
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design robust, fault-tolerant systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience creating and maintaining frontend clients using technologies such as: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and React

Professional Services & Technical Sales, APAC
i2 Group, a Harris Computer company, is hiring for Professional Services & Technical Sales Specialist. This permanent and will be performed on a remote basis, but the role will involve regular travel to customer sites and corporate events, both within Australia and internationally, as required by project and business needs.
As a Product Specialist, this professional will review, examine, and promote the current product features and its ability to support the strategic targets of the business. This may also include coordinating and supporting clients throughout the software implementation process. They will possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. There may be some travel required for the role.
About the Role
You’ll join i2’s Professional Services team, working directly with clients or alongside partners to deploy, configure and optimise i2 intelligence analysis platforms across the full product lifecycle—from architectural design and implementation planning to training handover and long-term optimisation. You’ll bring deep domain and technical expertise to every stage of deployment, acting as a trusted extension of the client team to deliver impactful solutions, drive adoption and enable analysts to extract meaningful intelligence from complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Implementation
Collaborate with clients to design bespoke implementation strategies, including planning, deployment, upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
Platform Customisation & Integration

Job Summary: As a Channel Manager of Sales & Marketing, this professional will lead our sales and marketing efforts in their designated territory promoting our software products and services. This role will require direct and indirect selling as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends to drive business success. There is travel to client sites, conferences, and global meetings expected in this role.

Industry-Specific Use Cases:
Support the development of targeted user cases for key industries (e.g., Legal, Financial) and lead go-to-market initiatives with partners to position i2 solutions as the preferred choice within these sectors.
Cross-Training & Team Resilience:
Build cross-training capacity across new business, renewals, and channel management to ensure operational resilience during peak times or holiday periods.
