At i2 Group, we are always developing and enhancing our range of software solutions and while we do sometimes release updates at other times, we aim for two major releases a year.
So this October 2025 has seen major updates released across several of our solutions, lets take a closer a look at some of the enhancement available to our customers.

The latest release for i2 Analyst's Notebook is 10.1.1 and some of the latest updates include:
We've included 70 new icons to address contemporary issues.
Within the Publish ribbon, users can now create a new snapshot with a single click and controls which allows for sequencing several snapshots.
Users are now able to search through lists of entity and link types as well as attribute classes and entries to filter their search.
To help reduce chart clutter, corners on links will only display their control handles when selected or when hovered over.
New for October 2025, iBase 10.1.2
This powerful new iBase capability is designed to save valuable time by allowing the analyst to automate processes by scheduling queries and Scored Matching to run at predefined times.
Users are now able to score records based on membership in a specific set, or by their presence in any set within a designated category. This provides a more targeted, sophisticated matching capability where records can be given prior based on uncovering connections and predefined collections of interest.
iBase 10.1.2 is now supports Microsoft Office 2024 and Esri ArcGIS Pro 3.5.
i2 Overwatch version 1.2 includes several new features, including:
Users can now configure i2 Overwatch to use MILSTD2525, the DoD standard common symbology, specification rather than APP6, the NATO standard symbology set.
i2 Overwatch now has the feature which enables the import of historic location data for a marker. This data can then be displayed on the map as a track or a set of standalone points depending on need.
Users can define a polygon on the map by clicking multiple points to create a custom search area, all entities within the boundary are displayed.
Our premium add-on for i2 Analyst's Notebook, i2 Insights has the following new and updated features:
Insights now supports Canada and South Africa call records. Canadian providers include Bell, Freedom, Rogers and TELUS and South African providers include Cell C, MTN, Telkom and Vodacom.
i2 Insights now has the ability to ingest MSAB XLSX files
We now support the ingestion of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) data from NAS, this also comes with a new list view for ANPR, additional map markers for vehicle sightings and additional filtering options.
Available as part of Analysis Studio and Analysis Hub, i2 Analyst's Notebook Web is our browser-based visual analysis tool that provides convenient and immediate access to foundational analytical tools.
Users are now able to group items on a chart, improving readability and organization. These grouping can then be collapsed to reduce visual clutter and to minimize the number of items displayed.
Users can set, edit, and reset labels right on the chart surface, allowing them to replace existing labels or revert to default labels.
Users can expect a remodelled ribbon, now broken down into intuitive tabs to improve useability, navigation and discoverability.
As with i2 Analyst's Notebook, a further 70 new icons have been included to address contemporary issues.
