i2 Group is very proud to be onboarded to a new ICT Framework launched for public sector organisations across the United Kingdom.
The collaboration between the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire (the lead contracting body) and Blue light Commercial (BLC) will provide a more efficient route to market for contracting authorities where due diligence has already been done.
i2 met the ICT framework’s stringent criteria to be selected to become one of a number of companies supplying financial, data and intelligence solutions.
The initiative brings tangible benefits to the public. Firstly, it enables emergency services, NHS bodies, schools, charities and other public bodies to access vital technology more quickly, helping them to respond more effectively and keep people safe.
Secondly, it ensures better value by carrying out supplier checks up front and maintaining them annually, reducing delays and risks.
What does this mean in i2’s field of intelligence analytics?
As a committed, long-term partner of UK policing, we are already supporting the Police Efficiency and Collaboration Programme initiative led by the UK Home Office to help forces work together to become more efficient and effective. The ICT Framework is a strong step in the right direction in this area for law enforcement, but its adaptability means there is potential for our solutions will to be delivered more widely, providing vital support to a greater number of local and central government agencies and publicly funded bodies.
