External Searches enable Intelligence Creators to search commercial and publicly available sources, or to query internal sources on-demand. Access to such sources facilitates information development in near-real time through discovery of new information, or enriching data stored in the analysis-repository. Simple connectors to data sources can be created through a dedicated no-code designer interface, whilst more complex connectors can be created through the connector SDK or delivered by i2’s Professional Service team.
Natural Language Processing capabilities unlock valuable intelligence stored within unstructured and semi-structured documents. Supporting over 200 languages, i2 Pro can automatically extract entities and relationships from documents, saving the analyst a significant amount of time and helping to drive better informed decisions. An ‘internet-style’ search capability allows information stored in the centralized datastore to be presented to the user. Supporting a flexible range of searching, including word, term, fuzzy, and wild cards, the user can quickly identify the information stored on entities and links accessible according to their security permissions. A library of pre-configured queries allows the user access to most relevant records in both visual and tabulated formats. These records can be easily explored through single click operations to help identify further related records of interest.
