Welcome Dan Cooper, our new International Customer Success Director to the i2 team.
Dan Cooper joined i2 in June 2024 as the International Customer Success Director, bringing over a decade of expertise in health technology and customer-focused leadership. In his role, Dan is dedicated to ensuring that customers and partners unlock the full potential of i2's products, fostering long-term loyalty and success.
Dan's journey began at Plymouth University, where he studied Biomedicine. This academic foundation propelled him into a 12-year career in health technology, working on pivotal projects like maternity and NHS Spine integration products. His versatile experience spans roles from Clinical Designer in development to Customer Relationship Management, Project and Product Management, and Business Development. Prior to joining i2, Dan was the Vice President of Sales at Quicksilva for two and a half years, a position he greatly valued.
Throughout his career, Dan has been instrumental in helping customers maximize their product investments. At Quicksilva, he led efforts that grew the customer base by over 30% in just two years, enabling the company to expand its team by approximately 8–10 new staff members. Dan takes immense pride in contributing to initiatives that not only drive business growth but also give back to esteemed institutions like the NHS.
Drawn by i2's reputation for innovation and impact, Dan saw joining the company as an opportunity not to be missed. He is fascinated by the diverse ways customers leverage i2's flexible products to make the world a safer place. Since coming on board, Dan has been deeply impressed by the welcoming and passionate team at i2. His recent experience at the i2 User and Training Conference, Europe in London further affirmed his belief in the significant positive impact i2's products have.
In his current role, Dan's primary focus is on empowering teams to help customers fully realise their investment in i2 solutions. He aims to adapt to their evolving needs, ensuring that i2 remains their go-to application for years to come. Committed to continuous improvement, Dan is also working on streamlining internal processes to give teams more time with customers—believing that deeper understanding leads to better support and success in reaching their goals.
Outside of his professional life, Dan cherishes quality time with his wife and dog by the sea. He enjoys exploring the countryside on picturesque dog walks that often end at charming rustic pubs. A keen cook, he loves experimenting with new recipes for friends and family. Dan is also passionate about golf, actively participating in a local Dartmoor league playing for Tavistock. He relishes the friendly competition, the wonderful people he meets, and the beautiful courses he gets to play.
Looking ahead, Dan is enthusiastic about the bright future at i2. With exciting developments coming from the R&D team and a continuous drive to enhance real-world customer experiences, he envisions being part of many groundbreaking initiatives. Grateful to be part of such an amazing brand, Dan is committed to contributing to i2's mission and vision for the future.
